What does this extension do?
This Chrome extension lists every script deployment associated with the NetSuite record you’re currently viewing, allowing you to see which scripts are running without digging through multiple screens.
Which NetSuite records are supported?
It works on any record type in NetSuite that can have scripts deployed—such as Invoices, Customers, Items, etc. If the record type can be scriptable, the extension will display its deployments.
Do I need special permissions to use it?
Yes. You need a NetSuite role with permission to view script deployments (for example, “List Script Deployments” must not be set to NONE). If your role doesn’t grant access to see the scripts, the extension can’t retrieve them.
How do I view the script deployments?
Simply open a NetSuite record (e.g., a Customer or Invoice) and click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. The extension will immediately fetch and list any related script deployments in a collapsible UI.
Why do I sometimes see “partial data” or a ‘Loading...’ message first?
The extension uses a two-step fetch process. It shows partial info as soon as possible, then automatically updates with the final results when more detailed data is ready. This way, you’re never stuck waiting with a blank screen.
Will this extension modify or create any NetSuite data?
No. The extension is read-only. It queries existing script deployment information in your NetSuite account and displays it. No actions or data changes are performed.
What if I don’t see any scripts listed?
- The record type might not be scriptable.
- Your NetSuite role might not have the right permissions to view script deployments.
- There may simply be no active scripts for that particular record.
Does the extension store data externally?
No. All information is fetched live from your NetSuite account and displayed locally in your browser session. We don’t save or send data to external services.
Is it compatible with Chrome’s latest Manifest v3 requirements?
Absolutely! Our extension was built to comply with Manifest v3 standards, ensuring it will remain supported and available in the Chrome Web Store moving forward.
